Welcome to Casa Delgado, Tavira. We’re delighted to host you and want to ensure your stay is enjoyable and stress-free. These Terms & Conditions outline important information about bookings, payments, house rules, and what’s included in your rental. By confirming a booking, you accept these conditions.

1. General Conditions

Casa Delgado is a privately owned holiday rental in Tavira, Portugal. When you book, the rental agreement is between you (the guest) and the property owner, with Casa Delgado managing the booking process. The lead guest is responsible for ensuring all members of the party follow these terms.

2. Booking Conditions

  • Guests must be 18 years or older to make a booking.

  • By booking, you agree to our use of personal information in line with Portuguese law.

  • Portuguese law governs the agreement, and any disputes must be settled in Portugal.

3. House Rules

  • Occupancy: Maximum occupancy is as booked. Only registered guests may stay at the property.

  • No parties or events: Casa Delgado is a peaceful home; large gatherings are not permitted.

  • Smoking & Vaping: Not permitted inside the house. Outdoor smoking is allowed if waste is disposed of responsibly.

  • Pets: Pets are not allowed.

  • Respect for Property: Please leave Casa Delgado in good condition. Extra cleaning or damages may be charged.

4. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-In: from 16:00 (4 pm)

  • Check-Out: by 11:00 (11 am)

  • Early check-in / late check-out: Depending on availability, an early check-in may be possible. Please contact us two days before your arrival to confirm if the house will be available for early check-in/ check-out.

  • For late evening arrivals, either a personal welcome or key safe access will be arranged.

5. What’s Included in Your Stay

Casa Delgado is fully furnished and equipped for a self-catering holiday, including:

  • 3 Bedrooms – 2 double bedrooms + 1 adjoining single room

  • 2 Bathrooms

  • Living Room

  • Fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, dishwasher, and washing machine

  • Air Conditioning – in master bedroom, living room, and kitchen

  • Wi-Fi access

  • Linen and towels provided on arrival (please bring your own beach towels)

  • Starter items: hand soap, toilet paper, sanitising hand gel

  • Bed linen & towels (changed every week)

  • Coffee machine & capsule Nespresso

  • Iron, Iron board, Hair drier

  • Bathroom welcome kit

  • Terrace (with sun loungers)

  • Barbecue

Additional cleaning or maid service can be arranged at extra cost.

6. Payments & Cancellations

  • 50% of the rent is due at the time of booking.

  • The remaining 50% of the rent is due 15 days prior to check-in.

  • A deposit of 200€ is due 15 days prior to check-in.

  • Payments can be made by credit card or direct bank transfer.

    Reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to 90 days before the first day of your stay. If cancelled after that, the following refund rules apply:

    • 50% of the advance payment if cancelled more than 60 days prior to the check-in date

    • 25% if cancelled more than 30 days prior to the check-in date

    • 0% if cancelled less than 30 days prior to the check-in date

7. Safety & Legal Requirements

  • Children: Please supervise children at all times, particularly on stairs and balconies.

  • Insurance: Guests are strongly advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance.

  • Lost Keys: Replacement costs will be charged if keys are not returned.

8. Guest Responsibilities During Stay

  • Dispose of rubbish in external bins or recycling points (not inside the property).

  • Leave the BBQ clean after use to avoid pests.

  • Use utilities (water, electricity, AC) responsibly.

  • Report any damages or missing items immediately so they can be resolved during your stay.

9. Extra Services (On Requests)

To make your stay even more comfortable, we can arrange:

  • Airport transfers to/from Faro

  • Car hire

  • Welcome food & wine packages

  • Special occasion arrangements (flowers, champagne, birthday cake, etc.)

10. Important Notes

  • Complaints: Please report any issues during your stay so we can resolve them. Complaints raised only after departure cannot be considered.

  • Noise & Neighbours: Please respect our neighbours; avoid loud noise, especially late at night.

  • Lost Property: Casa Delgado is not responsible for lost or forgotten items. Return shipping may be charged.

  • Building Work: Tavira is growing; we cannot be held responsible for nearby construction.

  • Accuracy: While we do our best to keep information accurate, details such as décor, furnishings, and local amenities may vary.
